HatchMyPDF provides PDF tools that run locally in your browser. Files are not uploaded to our servers and are not stored by us. The site uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google AdSense. No user accounts or paid subscriptions are offered.

Accessing or using the site constitutes acceptance of these Terms. We may update the service and these Terms. The new version applies from publication. Continued use means acceptance.
4. Permitted use
- Use the service lawfully and as intended.
- Do not interfere with operation, bypass technical limits, or perform reverse engineering.
- No bulk scraping, automation, or embedding into third-party sites/apps without our written consent.
- Do not infringe third-party rights, including content and data rights.
5. Working with PDFs and your responsibility
All PDF operations execute on your device. You are responsible for the legality of actions, including removing or setting passwords. When unlocking a PDF, you confirm you own the file or have proper authorization. We do not receive, view, or restore your documents.
6. Third-party services and ads
The site uses third-party services including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google AdSense, and Cloudflare, Inc. (and affiliates) for DNS, CDN, TLS, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), caching, and traffic routing. Your requests to the site may be proxied through Cloudflare’s edge network and may be temporarily cached to improve performance and security. We may challenge, throttle, or block traffic we deem abusive or suspicious. Use of these providers is subject to their own terms. Processing of personal data by such providers (e.g., IP address, user agent, request metadata) is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Rights to the service, design, texts, graphics, and software components belong to 8BIT CLOUD SYSTEMS SRL or licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal or business purposes subject to these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, 8BIT CLOUD SYSTEMS SRL and its representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including data loss or device damage, arising from the use or inability to use the service. Given the local processing nature, results depend on your device/browser and may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from traffic filtering, rate limiting, challenges, or caching performed by Cloudflare or other providers.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
11. Feedback
By sending feedback or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use them to improve the service without obligation to compensate you.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be resolved by courts at the place of registration of 8BIT CLOUD SYSTEMS SRL unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
